Sales Engineer, Life Safety and Security
Scott is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive security systems for a variety of businesses. Tasks related to Scott’s role include: inspecting clients’ premises to determine their security needs; studying physical conditions and observing activities; conferring with clients to obtain data regarding internal operations; analyzing data and plans; directing the installation of electronic security systems that include closed-circuit surveillance, entry controls, burglar alarms, ultrasonic motion detectors, and outdoor perimeter and microwave alarms.
Additionally, Scott is responsible for notifying clients of security weaknesses and implementing procedures for handling, storing, safekeeping, and destroying classified materials.
Scott has over 20 years of experience in the field of security integration and specializes in access control, security, fire systems, CCTV, video-management systems, intercoms, and mass-notification systems. He holds a Pelco Digital Sentry Certification and a Salient Systems Certification. He also holds a Honeywell Certification in Access Control & Security.
When he’s not working, Scott enjoys bass fishing tournaments throughout Indiana and Michigan. He also enjoys golf and spending time with his wife. Scott has been trained as a security specialist and law enforcement officer by the United States Air Force.
